Home Compass ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data we collect

We collect only what is required to deliver your purchase: your email address, the prompt edition you purchased, and the payment confirmation issued by our payment processor. We do not collect payment card details directly — these are handled by Stripe.

How we use your data

Your email is used to deliver your purchased prompt system, send you updates to that system, and respond to support requests. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Storage and security

Orders are stored in a secure, encrypted database. Access is limited to systems required for delivery and support.

Free checklist and lead forms

If you request a free checklist or mini-prompt, we store your email address, optional first name and which form you used, so we can send you the download.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store your email address and the property details you enter yourself. AI explanations in the app are generated by an AI model from those details and are labelled as such.

Withdrawal requests

If you use the online withdrawal form, we store the order email address, order or payment reference, request reference, language, status and timestamps. We use these details only to locate the purchase and handle the request. Access is restricted to authorised support administration. A final retention period has not yet been set and is legally to be verified. Until then, requests are retained for handling and record-keeping and may be deleted when those purposes no longer apply.

First-party measurement

To understand which pages lead to a purchase, our own server records anonymous events such as "pricing page viewed" or "checkout opened". We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers or cookies for this. Your browser stores a random visitor ID (local storage key "hc_session_id") and short-lived session markers to avoid counting a step twice. With each event we record the page path, referrer, browser user agent and time. We never send your name, email or property details with these events. You can remove the visitor ID at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion of your record at any time by contacting us.
